SINGAPORE Technologies Marine (ST Marine) has, in a joint bid with Penguin International, won the first shipbuilding contract awarded by the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) for three rescue vessels.
Neither ST Marine nor Penguin disclosed the value of the award, announced on Monday after trading hours. But the Ministry of Home Affairs in a Gebiz announcement said the joint bid was cited in six different currencies, including a sum of over S$33 million in Singapore dollars.
