ST Telemedia acquires stake in UK data-centre company
Its investment in Virtus Data Centres through its unit STT GDC gives it a foothold in the data-centre market there

ST Telemedia, a strategic investor in communications, media and technology businesses, announced on Wednesday its acquisition of a 49 per cent stake in UK's Virtus Data Centres.
The investment gives ST Telemedia its first direct entry into UK's data centre market, an important global hub; for Virtus, the acquisition will give it the wherewithal to expand its footprint on its home turf.
