STATS ChipPAC posts US$6.1m loss in Q4

STATS ChipPAC made a US$6.1 million loss in its fourth quarter, bringing the full-year loss to US$41.5 million, as revenues tumbled.

The Q4 result translates to a loss per share of two US cents, compared with earnings per share of one US cent a year ago when it made US$1.7 million.

Revenue for the three months ended Dec 29, 2013, tumbled 17.8 per cent to US$395 million from US$480.4 million. Full-year revenue was 6.1 per cent lower at US$1.6 billion.
