DETAILS have emerged on how China's biggest chip-packaging service provider Jiangsu Changjiang Electronics Technology Co (JCET) might fund its potential US$780 million purchase of Singapore semiconductor company STATS ChipPAC.
JCET will partner two independent parties. The first is SilTech Shanghai, a subsidiary of Shanghai-headquartered integrated circuit (IC) maker Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation (Smic).
