Yeo Hiap Seng : The beverage manufacturer on Thursday said it would lay off 25 employees as a direct result of Oatly’s evaluation of its supply network. Shares of the group closed flat at S$0.58 on Wednesday, before Oatly announced it would be shutting its S$30 million Singapore plant with Yeo Hiap Seng after just three years in operation.
Asia-Pacific Strategic Investments : The Catalist-listed company has agreed to operate and manage two airports in Timor-Leste, marking its potential entry into the aviation infrastructure sector. On Wednesday, the group said its proposed diversification will require the approval of shareholders. Shares of Asia-Pacific Strategic Investments closed flat at S$0.001 on Tuesday before it requested a trading halt the following morning. The counter resumes trading on Thursday.
