Stocks to watch: Clar, Clas, Starhill Global Reit, Sheffield Green

THE following companies saw new developments that may affect trading of their securities on Monday (Oct 30):
CapitaLand Ascendas Reit (Clar): The real estate investment trust (Reit) reported a slight increase in third quarter portfolio occupancy to 94.5 per cent, from 94.4 per cent three months earlier. The Reit also continued to register positive portfolio rental reversions, though lower than in the second quarter. Clar units ended 0.4 per cent or S$0.01 higher at S$2.51 on Friday, before the announcement.
CapitaLand Ascott Trust (Clas): Its third quarter gross profit rose 13 per cent on the year, as revenue growth outpaced increases in operating and financing costs. Revenue per available unit grew 17 per cent, above pre-Covid levels, to S$154, reported its managers on Monday. Stapled securities of Clas closed on Friday up 3.9 per cent, or S$0.035, at S$0.925.
