Stocks to watch: Clas, SIA, Manulife US Reit, Lendlease Global Reit, Cromwell E-Reit
THE following companies saw new developments that may affect trading of their securities on Monday (Dec 18):
CapitaLand Ascott Trust (Clas) : HMN 0%: It is divesting three hotels in Osaka, Japan, to an unrelated third party for a total of 10.7 billion yen (S$100.3 million) as part of its ongoing portfolio reconstitution strategy. The properties are Hotel WBF Honmachi, Hotel WBF Kitasemba East and Hotel WBF Kitasemba West, the manager said on Sunday. The counter closed at S$0.97 on Friday, down 2.5 per cent or S$0.025.
Singapore Airlines (SIA) : C6L 0%: The national carrier on Friday posted a 17.6 per cent year-on-year increase in passenger traffic in November, outpacing the 15.1 per cent expansion in its capacity. This came amid strong passenger demand heading into the year-end peak travel season. Shares of SIA closed 0.3 per cent or S$0.02 higher at S$6.47 on Friday, before the announcement.
