Stocks to watch: ComfortDelGro, Manulife US Reit, Sakae

THE following companies saw new developments that may affect trading of their securities on Wednesday (Jul 19):
ComfortDelGro : The transport operator on Tuesday said its subsidiary clinched a six-year contract to operate rail services in Paris. This marks the group’s first foray into France’s rail operations market. Shares of ComfortDelGro closed at S$1.23, up S$0.01 or 0.8 per cent on Tuesday, before the announcement.
Manulife US Real Estate Investment Trust (Manulife US Reit): Its manager said a sharp decline in portfolio valuations caused a breach of loan covenants, potentially affecting distributions. The Reit’s aggregate leverage has risen to 57 per cent. Its units closed at US$0.169 on Monday, before a trading halt was called on Tuesday. The manager requested to lift the trading halt on Wednesday morning.
