THE following companies saw new developments that may affect trading of their securities on Thursday (Dec 14):
Cordlife Group : The consumer healthcare company said on Wednesday that it accepted the Ministry of Health’s (MOH) suspension notice to stop collecting new cord blood and human tissue, among other operations, for a period of six months. It will not submit written representations to MOH on the notice either. Shares of Cordlife closed 1.6 per cent lower, or S$0.005, at S$0.305 before the news.
Sembcorp Industries : The group on Thursday said it was awarded a 300-megawatt solar project from NHPC, an enterprise of India’s government. Upon completion, power output from the project will be sold to NHPC under a 25-year power purchase agreement. Sembcorp’s shares ended 0.8 per cent or S$0.04 higher at S$5.11 on Wednesday.
