THE following companies saw new developments that may affect trading of their securities on Tuesday (Jul 11).
DBS : The bank has agreed to sell a 77.8 per cent stake in electronic payment services provider AXS to Tower Capital Asia, a private equity firm based in Singapore. On Tuesday, DBS said it will continue to retain a minority stake of 9.9 per cent in AXS. DBS closed Monday S$0.24 or 0.8 per cent higher at S$30.91.
Keppel Corporation : The group has obtained US$70 million worth of contracts to provide long-term and recurring “energy-as-a-service” in Vietnam. Its shares closed S$0.02 or 0.3 per cent higher at S$6.47 on Monday, before the announcement.
