THE following companies saw new developments that may affect trading of their securities on Tuesday (Jan 2):
DBS : The lender obtained the requisite regulatory approvals to increase its stake in Shenzhen Rural Commercial Bank (SRCB) to 16.69 per cent from 13 per cent. It will acquire a stake of 383.6 million SRCB shares for 5.25 yuan per share, it said on Friday. DBS shares closed 1.1 per cent or S$0.37 higher at S$33.41 on Friday, before the news.
Seatrium : The offshore and marine group said on Tuesday that it obtained a contract to construct and integrate the hull, topsides and living quarters for Shell’s semi-submersible floating production unit located in the US Gulf of Mexico. The move followed a letter of intent inked by both parties on Aug 28. Seatrium’s shares ended flat at S$0.118 on Friday.
