    THE following companies saw new developments that may affect the trading of their securities on Thursday (Jun 1):  IReit Global : The Europe-focused real estate investment trust is acquiring a portfolio of 17 retail properties located across France for about 76.8 million euros (S$112.2 million) through its wholly-owned subsidiary. It will also launch a preferential offering of new units to partially fund the deal, said its manager on Thursday. Units of IReit Global closed flat on Thursday at S$0.485. Clearbridge Health : The medical tech company said on Thursday that its executive director and chief executive Jeremy Yee is among the defendants in a civil suit filed by the shareholder of a former subsidiary, in a Jakarta court. Clearbridge Health’s nominating committee and board are of the view that Yee “remains suitable” to continue in his roles. The Catalist-listed company’s counter closed flat at S$0.027 on Wednesday.

    Trading halt: Aspen (Group) has requested a trading halt on Thursday morning, pending the release of an announcement. The property developer’s shares closed flat on Wednesday at S$0.03. Seatrium has requested a trading halt on Thursday morning, pending the release of an announcement. On Wednesday, the Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau said it has opened an investigation for alleged corruption offences involving the company and individuals from the marine engineering company. The counter closed on Wednesday up S$0.003 or 2.5 per cent at S$0.123, before the update.  Sysma has requested a trading halt on Thursday morning, pending the release of an announcement. The counter closed flat at S$0.125 on Wednesday.
