Stocks to watch: Keppel Reit, LMIRT, ValueMax, Serial Achieva
THE following companies saw new developments that may affect trading of their securities on Thursday (Jun 27):
Keppel Reit : It has established a green financing framework that will serve as a reference for all green finance transactions it issues, announced the real estate investment trust’s (Reit) manager on Wednesday. Keppel Reit’s sustainability-focused funding formed 63 per cent of its total borrowings as at Mar 31, 2024. Units of the Reit closed flat at S$0.84, before the news.
Lippo Malls Indonesia Retail Trust (LMIRT): The Reit has upsized its term loan facility to 4.5 trillion rupiah (S$371.8 million), said the manager on Thursday. Proceeds from the upsized facility will be used to finance the purchase of the Reit’s outstanding senior notes due 2026, among other purposes. Units of LMIRT closed on Wednesday down 7.7 per cent or S$0.001 at S$0.012.
ValueMax : Associates of the Singapore-listed pawnbroker have launched an initial public offering for Well Chip to raise RM172.5 million (S$49.6 million) through the issue of up to 150 million shares at RM1.15 apiece. These will be allotted to successful applicants by Jul 19, with Well Chip to list on Bursa Malaysia on Jul 23. Shares of ValueMax ended Wednesday flat at S$0.385, after the announcement.
Serial Achieva : The computer products distributor begins trading on the Catalist board on Thursday following the completion of a reverse takeover by Axington Inc, which raised gross proceeds of S$2.5 million. Among other things, proceeds will go into the expansion of Serial Achieva’s IT products and computer peripherals distribution business in Asean.
Trading halts: Real estate developer Asia-Pacific Strategic Investments and Katrina Group , a restaurant operator and hospitality player, requested trading halts on Thursday morning pending the release of their announcements. Both counters ended Wednesday flat at S$0.001 and S$0.032, respectively, with no trades done.
