    THE following companies saw new developments that may affect trading of their securities on Monday (Feb 27):

    Olam Group : The agri-business group posted a fall in net profit for the second half year ended Dec 31, 2022, to S$200 million, down 24.5 per cent from S$264.9 million in H2 2021. It attributed this to higher finance costs, which had doubled over the period. Shares of Olam rose 2.6 per cent or S$0.04 to S$1.60 on Friday.

    Venture Corporation : The electronics manufacturing services provider on Friday announced a 13.8 per cent increase in net profit to S$195.3 million for the second half ended Dec, 31, 2022. Earnings per share stood at 67.1 Singapore cents per share, up from 59.1 Singapore cents per share in the previous year. Shares of Venture Corp closed at S$18.17, up 1.2 per cent or S$0.21 on Friday before the news.
