Stocks to watch: Raffles Education, Hatten Land, Quantum Healthcare, Sheng Siong

THE following companies saw new developments that may affect trading of their securities on Tuesday (Jun 13).
Raffles Education : The private education provider has lodged bankruptcy applications against Indian edtech businessman Shantanu Prakash and Singapore lawyer Dennis Lui, the defendants in the Educomp case. This comes after their failure to pay the group over S$3.4 million awarded by the High Court. The counter did not record any trades on Monday; it last closed at S$0.055 on Friday.
Hatten Land , Quantum Healthcare : The Catalist-listed medical group has signed a tenancy agreement to occupy 138,769 square feet (sq ft) of rental space at Hatten Land’s Imperio Mall@Hatten City in Melaka, Malaysia. Quantum Healthcare will also have the option to lease up to 72,098 sq ft of space within the initial term of three years, the companies announced on Tuesday. Shares of Hatten Land closed on Monday S$0.001 or 5.9 per cent lower at S$0.016, while Quantum Healthcare was unmoved at S$0.005.
