Stocks to watch: Sabana Reit, EC World Reit, Dasin Retail Trust

THE following companies saw new developments that may affect trading of their securities on Monday (Jul 10):
Sabana Industrial Real Estate Investment Trust (Sabana Reit): Its sponsor, ESR Group, has filed a court application to prevent Quarz Capital from convening an Aug 4 extraordinary general meeting (EGM), where Quarz is seeking to remove the Reit manager. Another EGM resolution concerns the internalisation of the Reit management function. Sabana Reit units were last traded at S$0.425 at noon on Friday before a trading halt took effect. The counter resumes trading on Monday.
EC World Real Estate Investment Trust (EC World Reit): Its manager on Monday said it has entered into a supplementary agreement to amend the terms of the divestment of two properties in Zhejiang, China. This includes a deadline extension for the divestment, and a revision of the divestment properties’ agreed values. Units of the Reit closed on Friday up 1.7 per cent or S$0.005 at S$0.30.
Dasin Retail Trust : Its trustee-manager on Monday reported a net loss of S$221.5 million for the second half ended December 2022, widening from the previous year’s H2 net loss of S$51.8 million, mainly due to changes in the fair value of investment properties. The latest set of results translates to a loss per unit of S$0.273. Units of the trust closed flat at S$0.122 on Friday.
