THE following companies saw new developments that may affect trading of their securities on Friday (Mar 24):
Sats : Shareholders making up 90.4 per cent of the group’s shares have made valid applications for new shares it will be issuing, announced the inflight caterer and ground handler on Thursday. These rights shares will be allocated in full to those whose applications have been accepted, while remaining shares of close to 35 million will be allocated to shareholders who applied for excess rights. Sats ended up 1.6 per cent or S$0.04 at S$2.53, before the announcement was made.
Cromwell European Real Estate Investment Trust (Cromwell E-Reit): Its manager on Friday said it secured an unconditional leasing commitment for about 50 per cent of lettable area at its Via Nervesa 21 Grade-A office redevelopment in Milan, Italy. This comes a year ahead of the project’s scheduled completion. Units of the Reit closed Thursday 0.6 per cent or 1 euro cent higher at 1.58 euros.
