Stocks to watch: Sembcorp, Sabana Reit, Winking Studios

THE following companies saw new developments that may affect trading of their securities on Friday (Dec 29):
Sembcorp Industries : Its subsidiary Sembcorp Development is adding a 190-hectare industrial park development project in Ha Tinh, Vietnam, to its portfolio. This comes after Sembcorp’s 46.5 per cent-owned joint venture with Vietnam state-owned enterprise Becamex IDC Corporation secured an investment licence for the first phase of the project, announced the group on Friday. Shares of Sembcorp closed on Thursday up S$0.11 or 2.1 per cent at S$5.24.
Sabana Industrial Real Estate Investment Trust (Sabana Reit): Its manager filed a defence denying tenant Kleio One-Solution’s counterclaim. The Reit had filed an originating claim on Nov 17 seeking possession of the tenant’s premises along with outstanding fixed rent, land rent, property tax and late payment interest of around S$2.1 million. Prior to its latest announcement on Thursday, Sabana Reit closed up $0.005 or 1.3 per cent at S$0.40.
