THE following companies saw new developments that may affect trading of their securities on Friday (Jun 30):
Singapore Airlines (SIA): Temasek is selling around S$400 million worth of shares, or a 1.85 per cent stake, in the national carrier as a portfolio rebalancing act. It remains SIA’s major shareholder with a 53.5 per cent stake, reported Reuters, referencing a term sheet. SIA shares closed 0.5 per cent or S$0.04 lower at S$7.50 on Wednesday.
iFast Corporation : The mainboard-listed banking and wealth management platform’s Hong Kong-based subsidiary, iFast e-pension Services, on Wednesday launched a digital pension solution for Hong Kong ORSO Pension schemes. It expects the new solution to make a material positive contribution to the revenues and profitability of the group’s Hong Kong business from the first quarter of 2025. Its shares closed 0.9 per cent or S$0.04 higher at S$4.63 before the announcement.
