THE following companies saw new developments that may affect the trading of their securities on Thursday (Apr 6):
Singtel : The telecommunications provider halted the trading of its shares on Thursday morning, just before the market opened, pending an announcement. Shares of Singtel closed 0.4 per cent or S$0.01 lower at S$2.51 on Wednesday.
Nordic Group : Several of the group’s divisions have bagged contracts totalling about S$22.6 million with new and repeat customers. Nordic, which provides system integration solutions, does not expect the new contracts to have a material impact on its consolidated net tangible assets per share and earnings per share for its current financial year. Its counter closed 2.2 per cent or S$0.01 higher at S$0.475 on Wednesday, after the announcement.
