Stocks to watch: Thomson Medical, Pasture

THE following companies saw new developments that may affect trading of their securities on Friday (Jun 9).
Thomson Medical Group : The Singapore-based healthcare company was reported by Bloomberg on Thursday to be in advanced talks to purchase a controlling stake in Vietnam’s FV Hospital. Separately, Thomson Medical announced it was in “preliminary confidential discussions to explore a potential transaction”, but said definitive terms had yet to be reached. Shares of the company closed flat at S$0.059 on Thursday, before the news.
Pasture: The medical supplies company is due to commence trading on the Catalist board of the Singapore Exchange on Friday, a week after it launched an initial public offering of 20 million placement shares at S$0.25 apiece. The company is expected to have a market capitalisation of S$33 million.
