THE following companies saw new developments that may affect trading of their securities on Tuesday (Feb 28):

UOL Group : U14 0%: The property and hospitality company announced on Monday a 44 per cent fall in net profit to S$120.8 million for the second half of the year ended December 2022. However, full year earnings were still up 60 per cent to S$491.9 million. Its board proposed a first and final dividend of S$0.15 per ordinary share, along with a special cash dividend of S$0.03 per ordinary share. Shares of UOL ended at S$6.76, down 0.4 per cent or S$0.03 on Monday before the news.

Sembcorp Marine (Sembmarine) : S51 0%: The offshore and marine company posted on Monday a significantly narrower net loss of S$118.3 million for the second half of 2022, compared to the loss of S$523.3 million the previous year.
