THE first 2 months of 2022 have brought with them several major troubles for global markets - including the Russia-Ukraine spat, threats of higher inflation levels and interest rates, and the continued fight against the Covid-19 pandemic. But strategists reckon stocks will perform reasonably well this year, on the back of firm economic growth.
Investors should look beyond the noise and diversify their portfolios, said participants at The Business Times Market Outlook 2022 webinar on Friday (Feb 25), which sought to identify key investment themes for the year. The webinar was moderated by BT's senior correspondent Ben Paul.
