CHINESE pharmaceutical product manufacturer Suntar Eco-City has announced that it will be placed on the Singapore Exchange watch-list with effect from today, after making three consecutive years of losses.
In its latest fiscal year ended Dec 31, 2013, lower profit margins stemming from higher raw material costs led it to report losses of 889,000 yuan (S$183,000), from a 1.2 million yuan loss a year ago.
Revenue fell 17.6 per cent year-on-year to 41.1 million yuan as a result of competitive conditions in the market, it said.
