LISTED supermarkets in Singapore have performed comparatively defensively since the end of April, amid regional concerns of a stronger US dollar and US-China tariff tensions, the Singapore Exchange said on Tuesday.

According to a market update report by the bourse, the two mainboard-listed supermarkets - Dairy Farm International and Sheng Siong Group - have averaged 2.9 per cent gains since the end of April.
