Tapping on South-east Asia's clean energy boom
Armstrong Asset Management is investing in various projects in region, as energy demand surges.

A TRIP to South-east Asia in 1989 had British-born Andrew Affleck intrigued by business prospects in emerging markets. He had seen first-hand the double-digit growth in the region's economies, fuelled in large part by international finance.
Mr Affleck left his London home to learn more about the region on the invitation of his Malaysian friends and started building what has become a 25-year career in South-east Asia. Today, at age 48, he is the founder and managing partner of Singapore-based Armstrong Asset Management, which manages the region's largest privately-held clean energy fund.
