THE announcement of another round of US tariffs on Chinese imports, set to commence on Sept 1, reignited simmering trade tensions and sent Asian markets down on Friday.
The Straits Times Index (STI) fell for a third straight day, ending down 0.93 per cent or 30.64 points to 3,261.11.
