Tech-Link opens new HQ

TECH-LINK Storage Engineering, an industrial storage solutions and logistics automation provider, has opened its new headquarters (HQ) in Singapore. Located near Changi Airport, the S$28 million building has six levels of state-of-the-art facilities of about 9,000 square metres, including a smart multi-level warehouse as well as two floors of office space.

The building is designed and built to the BCA (Building and Construction Authority) Green Mark GoldPlus standard for environmental sustainability. The new HQ follows Tech-Link's acquisition of Australian global storage solutions provider Dexion Group in June 2017.

Dexion solves materials handling challenges for a diverse range of customers including DHL, Unilever and Toyota. It will re-establish a market presence in Singapore, which will complement Tech-Link's existing market offerings in the region.

Tan Hock Seng, founder and chairman of Tech-Link, said: "The opening of our new corporate headquarters and acquisition of the Dexion Group are significant steps to achieving our strategic objective to enhance Tech-Link's global presence and broaden the company's reach into Asia-Pacific's intralogistics industry."

Tech-Link has grown from being a storage equipment importer and distributor to an international storage solutions manufacturer and systems provider. The company comprises two key divisions, SSinolog Properties and Dexion.

SSinolog Properties is a real estate platform focused on logistics and industrial property development in Singapore and China, with over 10 million square feet of properties as at June 2017. With Dexion, Tech-Link's annual turnover is in excess of S$200 million. International Enterprise (IE) Singapore has been a key partner in supporting Tech-Link's overseas growth strategy by connecting SSinolog Properties to partners and projects in China, as well as assisted in the acquisition of Dexion.
