NOBODY said it was going to be easy. After the go-go growth of last year, punters rode into the first-quarter earnings season bracing for the tech rally to lose some sizzle.
As the report cards trickled in, thinner margins, currency volatility and poor orders visibility became recurring themes; shares fell, and Singapore's tech manufacturing services firms are still trying to recover their mojo.
