Techcomp in new distribution agreement with Hitachi High-Tech group
TECHCOMP (Holdings) Ltd has entered into a new distribution agreement with Hitachi High-Tech Science Corporation, a subsidiary of Hitachi High-Technologies Corporation.
The new distribution agreement covers the marketing, after-sales service and distribution of the Scion gas chromatograph and mass spectroscopy (GC and GC-MS) products in the Japanese market.
Techcomp had in November acquired the Scion GC and GC/Single Quadrupole MS business from Bruker Daltonics Inc.
Under the distribution agreement, Hitachi High-Tech Science will set up the Scion GC and GC-MS demonstration units in its demonstration facility in Tokyo, start the marketing and distribution of these products in Japan as well as the after-sales service.
