SAMSUNG India workers have decided to end their month-long strike, the company said on Tuesday (Oct 15).
Samsung said it welcomes the decision of the Centre of Indian Trade Unions (CITU) to call off the strike at the plant. The company said it would not take action against workers who participated in the strike.
The workers have held protests close to the factory near the city of Chennai in Tamil Nadu since Sep 9, demanding higher wages and recognition of their union. REUTERS
