STARHUB, the last of the Big Three telcos, has joined the price war in mobile data plans.
After the market closed on Thursday, StarHub introduced a new 3GB-for-S$3 data upsize option for mobile postpaid customers "to use more for less".
Customers who sign up for or renew their StarHub 4G plans can enjoy the new 3GB data upsize at a promotional monthly rate of S$3. The usual monthly rate of S$6 will apply for customers who sign up from April 1.
This comes hours after M1 launched new and upsized data plans, and a day after MyRepublic and Singapore Telecommunications (Singtel) unveiled theirs.
In February, Chua Sock Koong, Singtel group chief executive, said a price war would make the whole industry suffer and customer experience, poorer.
