StarHub appoints DBS executive Han Kwee Juan as independent director

STARHUB announced on Wednesday (Aug 21) that it has appointed DBS Singapore group executive and country head Han Kwee Juan as the telco’s independent director as of Sep 1, 2024.
He will also be appointed as a member of the company’s risk and sustainability committee.
Han was DBS’ group head of strategy and planning from 2019 to 2023.
Before joining DBS, he was the chief executive of Citibank Singapore from 2012 to 2018.
While he has no prior experience as a director of another listed issuer, he will be attending training on the roles and responsibilities of a director.
StarHub shares fell 3.2 per cent or S$0.04 to S$1.22 on Wednesday, before the announcement.
