[BARCELONA] TELECOMMUNICATION companies are eager to show the world that they can work together to achieve common goals, with a flurry of collaboration efforts seen at this year’s edition of the Mobile World Congress.
This is the first time since the pandemic that the industry event – held in Barcelona annually – saw attendance return to its pre-pandemic normal of more than 100,000 delegates.
One of the key collaboration efforts involves the coming together of 21 mobile network operators (MNOs) to create common network application programmable interfaces (APIs) under the GSM Association (GSMA) Open Gateway framework.
