Temasek unit scores knockout with One Championship deal

    IT was towards the end of April this year when an email arrived in the inbox of Chatri Sityodtong, the founder and chairman of Singapore-based mixed martial arts (MMA) company One Championship.

    That message was from Derek Lau, the chief executive officer of Heliconia Capital Management, an investment firm and fully-owned subsidiary of Temasek Holdings.
