“Peter brings with him a wealth of experience in spearheading global sustainability efforts across a range of industries,” said Verghese on Bakker’s appointment to GenZero’s board.
“His strong track record in working with global corporate decision-makers in driving sustainability initiatives across different geographies will provide valuable insights to guide GenZero in its global investment strategy across nature, technology and carbon market solutions.”
GenZero aims to accelerate decarbonisation through its investments in opportunities that could potentially become impactful and scalable solutions.
The investment platform company’s investment approach covers three focus areas to drive climate impact, including nature and technology-based solutions.
Its third investment focus area, carbon ecosystem enablers, refers to companies and solutions that support the development of an effective, efficient and credible carbon ecosystem.
