Thai Beverage's FY2015 profit up 22%
THAI Beverage Public Company saw a 22 per cent increase in its net profit for the year ended Dec 31, 2015, from 21.69 billion baht (S$853.8 million) to 26.46 billion baht.
Net profit from continuing operations came in at 22.62 billion baht, an increase of 5.5 per cent year on year.
The group's revenues from sales and services also rose 6 per cent to 172.05 billion baht. This increase came on the back of a rise in the sales revenue from its spirits, beer and non-alcoholic beverages businesses.
Earnings per share stood at 1.05 baht, up from 0.86 baht from the previous year.
The company has proposed a final dividend of 0.46 baht per share, the same as the previous year's.
On Friday, the counter closed one Singapore cent or 1.4 per cent lower at S$0.69 before the group's results were released.
