SHARES of Thai Beverage (ThaiBev) surged on Friday, rising 2.5 Singapore cents or 3.1 per cent to close at 82 cents, with the counter emerging as the top gainer on the Straits Times Index for the day.
The counter had earlier traded as high as 83 cents, or up 4.4 per cent, with some 41.3 million shares worth around S$34 million changing hands during the day.
