Thomson Medical unit to focus on children's education and development

THOMSON Medical Group said on Tuesday that Thomson Kids Pte Ltd (TKPL), incorporated by the group's indirect wholly-owned subsidiary Thomson Medical Pte Ltd, will focus on children's developmental health and well-being.
TKPL, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Thomson Medical Pte Ltd, will start off with a learning centre that offers structured educational programmes based on evidence-based interventions that help children with learning difficulties. This is aimed at letting them learn more effectively and better participate and progress in the mainstream education environment, said the group.
The centre will be supported by psychologists, speech and language therapists, and trained teachers.
Shares in Thomson Medical Group closed at 5.7 Singapore cents on Tuesday, up 0.1 Singapore cent, or 1.79 per cent.
