Tigerair Australia sale to Virgin Australia completed

TIGERAIR has completed the sale of its 40 per cent stake in loss-making low-cost Tigerair Australia to Virgin Australia, it said in an announcement on Friday.
The transaction to divest the stake for A$1 to Virgin Australia, which already owns the other 60 per cent stake, was announced in October last year, and had been anticipated to be completed by the end of last year.
