Tigerair Singapore's May passenger load factor up slightly at 84.9%
BUDGET carrier Tigerair Singapore has reported a 0.9 percentage point year-on-year rise in passenger load factor to 84.9 per cent for May, as traffic growth outpaced capacity injections.
Revenue passenger kilometres (RPK) - the number of paying passengers booked on scheduled flights multiplied by the kilometres flown - rose 17.2 per cent year on year to 881 million, while available seat km (ASK) grew 16 per cent to 1.04 billion.
It carried 473,000 passengers last month, up 17.7 per cent.
