Tokio Marine Life Singapore names new CEO
INSURER Tokio Marine Life Singapore has appointed James Tan Lai Hing as its new chief executive and he will start his new role from June 1.
Mr Tan, who has been in the insurance and banking sectors for more than 20 years, will take over from outgoing CEO Lance Tay.
In a memo to its partners and distributors on Friday, the insurer said Mr Tan "has held leadership positions in Asia, Middle East and the United States".
"James is trained in actuarial science with a Master's Degree in actuarial science from Georgia State University, US. He also holds MBAs from the University of California, Los Angeles and the National University of Singapore."
