Trade talks, interest rate outlook lift Feb market

THE total market capitalisation on the local bourse in February inched up 0.7 per cent from the previous month to end at S$926.2 billion.

This compares to a 3 per cent gain in market capitalisation in January - a month that is typically seen as the best of the year for the stock market.
