Startup's platform lets users trade stocks and currencies virtually based on real-world data

HOMEGROWN stock market simulation app maker TradeHero has partnered Singapore Exchange (SGX) and Macquarie Securities Thailand to bring financial education to "millions of investors", the startup said on Monday.
Its platform - which lets users virtually trade stocks from some 29 exchanges and 10 currencies based on real-world data - has, since 2012, amassed some 3.6 million users from 127 countries.
