MAINBOARD-LISTED Cordlife called for a trading halt on Friday after its shares surged as much as 20 per cent.
But the company did not have any exciting news to share. After market closed, it said in a filing that it "conducts regular reviews from time to time of strategic options available with a view to enhance shareholder value. There is no assurance that any transaction will materialise from its strategic review". It asked for the trading halt to be lifted on Monday.
