SILKAIR and the SilkAir (MI) branch of the Air Line Pilots Association Singapore (Alpa-S) concluded the Collective Agreement (CA) 2014 on Feb 24, slightly more than a month ahead of the pact's scheduled expiry.
As part of the pact, MI pilots will get up to 7.1 per cent increase in salaries, with instructor pilots seeing a significant increase in their allowances, all effective from April 1.
CAs - which determine the salaries, benefits and working conditions of pilots in SilkAir - are traditionally negotiated every three years.
