[FARNBOROUGH, United Kingdom] Malaysia's low-cost airline Air Asia on Tuesday placed a blockbuster order for 100 single-aisle fuel-efficient A321neo jets worth a vast US$12.5 billion at list prices at the Farnborough airshow.
The firm order, worth the equivalent of 11.3 billion euros, was announced shortly after Indian low-cost carrier Go Air had signalled its intention to buy 72 Airbus A320neos worth US$7.7 billion.
