Air cargo growth shows signs of peaking
Period when companies turn to air transport to restock inventories fast may be ending: Iata economist

THE air freight market has rebounded in tandem with improvements in global trade, but signs that growth has peaked have emerged.
In the first half of this year, cargo demand, measured in freight tonne kilometres (FTKs), expanded by 10.4 per cent year on year, data from the International Air Transport Association (Iata) shows. This was the strongest first half-year performance since 2010.
