THE aviation community is poised to put a long-awaited carbon emissions scheme to a vote at the 10-day International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Assembly in a bid to cap emissions in the fast-growing industry.
191 member states have gathered at the meeting which kicked off in Montreal on Tuesday and will conclude on Oct 7.
