GIVEN the headwinds in the global airfreight industry, airport operator Changi Airport Group (CAG) is introducing a package of support measures - which will include cost savings - to help its cargo partners weather the storm.

The total package will amount to S$14 million per year; it introduces a one-time Special Assistance Package (SAP) for cargo agents and extends a landing-fee rebate for scheduled freighter flights for a year from April 1.
